Hemp, Buckwheat & Red Maize

Red maize needs no introduction at all, it has accounted for some huge carp catches over the years. The little grains of red and 1% of yellow goodness that the carp just can’t resist! An alternative to sweet corn with it having a much tougher coat making it more difficult for nuisance species.

Buckwheat is one of today's new superfoods. It is not a grain, but actually related to the rhubarb plant. Rich in oils and highly nutritious, it makes a great addition to hemp or a sole particle for fishing. The seed has an inner kernel, similar to hemp, and we find a 50/50 combination of buckwheat and hemp seed after preparation makes for an enhanced particle mix that keeps carp grubbing around your hookbait for hours.
