It was dug for its gravel in 1957 and since then become a carp fishing hot spot. It has seen many anglers over its time grace the banks in search of the carp it has held in both times gone, and times new. Since April 15th 2022, we have been open for bookings via the website for all to enjoy the fishing it presents. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003cbr\u003eSince the year of 2020, we have been working hard to create an open access lake for all to enjoy by booking your session in advance. The lake is 7.5 acres and holds just over 250 carp along with our ongoing stocking program to maintain the correct stocking densities for optimum growth rates to achieve large carp as well as a good balance of catch rates. Our fish go to over 30lbs currently with everything in-between and are always increasing in weight as time goes by. The lake has other species of fish to have a go for such as Tench, Roach and Rudd. There are no Bream present in the lake. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThere are 12 swims on the lake, which you can see in the swim’s gallery on the website. We offer single bookings as well as exclusive bookings.
