You will need:

Wide Gape Hook

Dark Matter Coated Braid

Medium Silicone Tubing

Medium Shrink Tubing

Razorblade Scissors

Hair Stops

Strippa Tool

Baiting Needle

Pulla Tool

Step 1

Start by taking some Dark Matter Braid off of your spool

Using a Strippa Tool, Peel off around 5-6 inches of coating

In the supple end, form a small hair loop

Next, take a baiting needle and mount your chosen hookbait

This rig lends itself to using Bottom Baits

Pass down onto your hair, and secure in place with a Hair Stop

Cut off a short section of Silicone Tubing

4mm is perfect, to ensure it grips the hook in position

Simple slide down your hooklink towards your hookbait

Carefully, pass your hookpoint through your Silicone Tubing and push round to the position shown

Be careful not to knick your the braid!

Secure your hook in place with a Knotless Knot

Ensure there is a nice supple section exiting the eye of the hook.

Take your Shrink Tube and cut off a small section

Around 15mm should be perfect

Slide over your knot and steam-down like so

In the other end of your hooklink, form a Fig.8 Loop Knot, pulling tight with a Pulla Tool

Trim the tag end, and you're ready to attach to your chosen Lead arrangement
