Korda Leadcore Chod Safety System – Carp Rig Components

The Korda Leadcore Chod Safety System incorporates the No-Trace System to create a completely safe set-up for use on leadcore and similar diameter leader materials such as the fused Dark Matter range. If the main line breaks above the leader knot, the hook link comes free from the leader, leaving the fish with only the trace rather than towing a leader or lead.

The No-Trace Beads solve the common issue of weed or debris building up on knots. Once pulled free from the retaining rubber Chod Sleeve, a slit in the bead allows it to drop off the leader entirely, so a size 11 Ring Swivel (not included) can pass easily over any leadcore knot or splice. A Barrel Bead acts as a buffer at the lead end.

Compatible with both chod rigs and conventional helicopter set-ups such as the Heli-Safe System.
